The Building Industry Consultative Council (BICC)

The Building Industry Consultative Council (BICC) is an advisory group established by Government under the auspice of the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affaires. It is made up of representatives from client and employer groups, trade unions, individual employers and government with the objective of promoting an environment that will enhance the standards of the industry in Malta.

The BICC aims to promote cultural change and best practice in the local building construction industry. It does this through a cooperative and collaborative approach.

Applications can be made directly through the Freedom of Information Portal (www.foi.gov.mt )  making use own E-ID.   Alternatively, Application Forms can be downloaded from same Website.

A reply to a request for information will be issued and sent to the applicant by mail (or through email if request is so lodged) within a day from the receipt of submission.  Requests submitted during non-working days will be considered to have been lodged on the first working day that follows submission. 

Where a request is entertained according to the provisions at law (Act 496) and payments are due to be made as per LN 158/2010, such payments are to be deposited at the same address and times indicated above.
